How a voice actor behind two game characters says goodbye

How a voice actor behind two game characters says goodbye

Wesker

Capcom
D.C. Douglas is a voice actor whose talents should be recognizable to a decent chunk of the gaming audience. Specifically, those that play "Resident Evil" and "Mass Effect." For years he's been the voice of Albert Wesker and the Geth Legion, two characters that are no longer around for various reasons.
And with no further video game work in the pipeline, how does Douglas feel like marking the occasion? By creating a video mash-up on YouTube, of course.
The following, which was highlighted by Joystiq, accompanies Douglas' most recent blog post and is his way of saying goodbye to the aforementioned characters plus their fans, while also having a little fun:

This isn't the first time Douglas has played around with footage of Albert Wesker; in late 2010, he created a wacky Old Spice ad with footage from "Resident Evil 5," right before he bites the bullet.
As Douglas notes in his most recent video, anyone hoping for Wesker's return for part 6 is mistaken. Because if that was the case, Douglas would have known already, unless he's playing coy.
His lack of game related work for the foreseeable future also indicates the lack of Legion in the upcoming DLC designed to shed new light on the "Mass Effect 3" ending, unless his chores on that end has already wrapped up.
So in the meanwhile, simply kick back and enjoy the Charlie Sheen and iPhone 4S gags.
